Marrakesh bird

[edit]

The text says "It is also known as “The Marrakesh Bird” for its strong presence in Morocco." This nickname must mean the House Bunting (Emberiza sahari) which is indeed frequently seen living in or around houses in Marrakesh (and other Moroccan cities), and which was considered a subspecies of the Striolated Bunting until recently. As the text says that the Striolated Bunting, unlike the House Bunting, breeds in remote wadis, it is most likely not known under the name of a city. I would transfer the line to the House Bunting article, but unfortunately can't find any source nor mention in internet about this nickname. So I'll just delete it for the moment being. If anybody finds a reference, happy to get the line into the correct article. Ilyacadiz (talk) 10:52, 3 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
