In the article you can read with regard to the Blisworth tunnel:
The tunnel is 3,075 yards (2,812 m) long and is the longest wide, freely navigable tunnel in Europe.
This is not true. Since 1987, when the chain-tug in the tunnel (3347 m) of Pouilly-en-Auxois on the Bourgogne-Canal has been abandoned, you can go freely through this tunnel, too. Also, the other chain-tug in the 4.878 m long tunnel of Mauvages (Marne-Rhine-Canal) is rarely in use now and it seems as if it will be abandoned, too. Anyway, ships (commercial shipping as well as privatiers) go through this tunnel without being towed by the chain-tug any longer. And there also is the tunnel of Ruyaulcourt (4.354 m) in the Canal du Nord, where ships go through freely.
