better image

[edit]

hey, I just wanted to say that the screenshot is possibly a bit out of date, and that a better one can be displayed. (go to the site and see)

Which site? Apple's? But I agree, the current screenshot is horrible, would replace it right now if my OS wasn't set to a different language. --88.74.133.104 (talk) 12:57, 20 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Honest Edits

[edit]

I attempted to add a single line of information about the very similar (and free) Windows application of the same name, and was told I was vandalizing. I have no idea how to contact whoever reverted the article as the contact me link led to a nonsense page lots of random folks had vandalized themselves!

Yeah, I have the stickies for Windows! I could take a screenshot, but I don't know how to upload them, and of course an image sharing site would give me limited bandwidth, most likely.71.120.42.89 (talk) 21:38, 11 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

App vs Dashboard

[edit]

A note should be made that there is a difference between the Stickies Application and the Stickies Dashboard Widget, mainly in the appearance (the application is just a straight-edge rectangle wheras the dashboard widget looks like a 3-dimensional post it note).136.176.102.80 07:33, 8 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Merger proposal

[edit]

Desktop notes isn't that the same article? --mabdul 0=* 20:28, 26 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This is about Mac's. --Staka (T) 22:22, 22 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I don't think it is needed to merge, this article is about the Mac application, not the general term about it. John 10:55, 26 July 2009 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by JohnHWiki (talkcontribs)
I agree with JohnHWiki, and I see that mabdul has not made further comments, so I've taken the proposal down. --朝彦 (Asahiko) (talk) 12:30, 18 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Removal of third-party app

[edit]

I just edited to remove references to a specific third-party Windows app. It is irrelevant to this article and its references to specific features and positive reviews of that app made it function as an advertisement. noktulo (talk) 19:37, 17 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
