The article Stewart Wurtz was created on the afternoon of Friday December 11 and immediately (within less than 5 minutes) tagged for deletion. Wurtz was identified as worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia because he has been an active and successful furniture maker in Seattle for over twenty years -- not someone who has just appeared or whose career is likely to flame-out. Further, Wurtz has exhibited his work in a wide variety of venues across the U.S.A. including one or two person shows. The essay provides a link to the Pritam & Eames archive showing that Wurtz has been a participant in multiple shows including two person shows related to his work. The article also lists the states where he has shown his work -- in future development of the article it should be possible to add information about the different venues in which he has shown; it will also be possible to discuss the aesthetic character of his work. The fact that he has exhibits in multiple states across the country demonstrates that he has a national reputation among furniture makers. Changed the category "American cabinet maker" back to "Furniture maker." Although Wurtz once worked for Thomas Moser, there seems to be no evidence on any of the sites to which the article links that Wurtz currently makes cabinets. He does design and make furniture.
