There is a DJ/ music producer from London called Steven Geller. (top 5 hits on google search) website - www.stevengeller.com There is confusion being caused with this page sharing name. Please remove reference 3. http://stevegeller.com/bio.asp - link to me.

Please change page name 'Steven Geller' to 'Senator Steven Geller' or 'Senator Steven A. Geller'

Many thanks Stevengeller (talk) 06:49, 24 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Stevengeller, and sorry to hear this page has caused confusion. I've fixed reference 3, which was a dead link redirecting to your website. But I can't unilaterally change the article title. All four references refer to the senator as "Steve Geller", so per Wikipedia's policy on article titles, that's the correct name for this article. The title could only be changed if there was consensus for the change in an open discussion among Wikipedia contributors. I'd be happy to initiate such a discussion on your behalf if you wish, but for it to have any chance of success, I think you'd need to explain how the title change would help you. Note anyone searching for "Steve Geller" in Wikipedia would still be redirected to this article, even if its title changed. Adrian J. Hunter(talkcontribs) 12:20, 25 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I worked on former Senator Geller's winning campaign for County Commissioner in FL District 5. He was elected with 53.06% of the vote and sworn into office on November 22, 2016. Can the sidebar of this article be updated in the context of this new position? I'm happy to provide as much information as necessary to substantiate my request. Thank you.
