To SteveMunroToronto: So people should need permission from whom the article is about before posting or editing an article about them? Can we afford this same privilege to politicians and criminals? You should not even be editing your own Wikipedia page and you should not be trying to suppress free speech supported by facts. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 199.243.96.171 (talk) 04:48, 13 January 2023 (UTC)
Disruptive edits from an anonymous IP
[edit]An anonymous IP edited a quote field with the edit summary "Personal Opinions have been removed". Of course quotes from verifiable authoritative sources are allowed. Geo Swan (talk) 01:43, 18 December 2014 (UTC)
There second edit characterized Munro as being from "Downtown Toronto", a description without reference.
I reverted them. Geo Swan (talk) 01:43, 18 December 2014 (UTC)
explanation
[edit]Only one reference placed the author's name in Last-name, First-name form. I believe the MOS advises sticking to the form used by previous references. So I changed it to conform. Geo Swan (talk) 21:57, 15 September 2015 (UTC)
