Far-right?

[edit]

This seems to be guilt by association, what 'far-right' policies does he espouse? As a far-right politician he wouldn't hide his far-right policies. Flexdream (talk) 15:06, 26 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Flexdream, you're right, he hasn't hd his far-right policies and rhetoric. A Timeline of Steve King's Racist Remarks and Divisive Actions, Rep. Steve King crossed the line on race by using a bullhorn, not a dog whistle, Anti-Defamation League condemns Rep. Steve King's meeting with far-right Austrian group, Rep. Steve King appeared on podcast frequented by white nationalists. "Guilt by association". Yeah, don't associate with Nazis and you won't be guilty of being a Nazi. – Muboshgu (talk) 15:34, 26 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
" The president [Trump?] operates on the side of euphemism, just this side of euphemism". Well I'm convnced that https://www.nbcnews.com/news/nbcblk/rep-steve-king-crossed-line-race-using-bullhorn-not-dog-n959161 seems a reliable source. Yeah definitely a Nazi. Thanks. It's true that he'd generally be considered far right, but in the interests of neutrality it might be better to remove it from the lead sentence, and instead put something like "often characterized as far-right" a bit farther down. Or maybe keep it where it is, but add some citations. 🦬 Beefaloe 🦬 (talk) 10:55, 2 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
