A biography is a description or account of someone's life.
Clearly this is a reflection of the life of Stern Hu. The fact it does not incorporate every nuance is irrelevant. Biographies at their core are to elaborate on the nature of what brings individuals to prominence. This does this in a way which covers the issues. Although I believe it does not reveal the hypocrisy of both the Australian and Chinese Governments on this matter. Australia for its relative silence based on an erroneous perception pandering to the China’s elites bullying will earn their respect. China for its continuing belligerent attitude to those (individual citizens, companies and countries) who do not deliver on their terms – a subservience to China’s elite internal and external view of what constitutes in reality a distortion of commercial and economic best practice. The way we relate to each other personally and internationally as Nations continue to fail to meet the aspirations of the vast majority of humanity. Delivering poverty and shackles of secular and religious repression to promote the misguided vision of the few. Faith provides secular and religious certainty but the greater the certainty the greater the threat to humanity. Until we accept as individuals and Nations it is only by enabling the independence of others first will we ever be able to rise above the discord.
