The Sterlite plant was approved by DMK/Congress government but the protest is happening in AIADMK regime. Furthermore, the protestors instead of questioning the elected politicians are ransacking government property which actually belongs to the citizens. At several occasions, the city names of Thoothukudi and Tuticorin are given. Note that These are that two writings for a single city. Worse: At one point, in controversies, it is even implied that these are two different cities:

"(...) demand a shutdown of its Thoothukudi and Tuticorin smelting plants(...)"


A Wikipedia article needs to stick to a single name.
