Time for sharing spot light

[edit]

I know undoubtedly some one will hate, but I though it was about time to give Sterling College VT the chance to be the root article and Sterling Kansas linked to.

It's not that I hate which one is which in Wikipedia, it's that there are over 100 articles already on Wikipedia that link to Sterling College expecting the Kansas one... Please read Wikipedia:Disambiguation. I, for one, would rather you revert the change back to original as a simple housekeeping step.--Paul McDonald (talk) 21:33, 8 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
There's already a Sterling College (Vermont) page. This is now a duplicate. One option would be to make this a disambiguation page instead. --Tesscass (talk) 22:19, 8 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
This seams like a reasonable solution, I thank the community for enlightening me to the concept and enjoy the dialog. --jbrosnahan 23:41, 8 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
There are now 100+ incoming wikilinks to the disambiguation page that used to link to an article. Please fix them, or return the Kansas college to the basename. -- JHunterJ (talk) 01:21, 9 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I don't mind the solution presently with this being the disambiguation page... but usually there is onlay a "DAB" page if there are three or more similar articles or topics... that said, if we keep it this way, can someone put toghther a BOT real quick to handle that?--Paul McDonald (talk) 14:15, 9 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I don't know much about bots. But I'll get on with fixing the dab links "manually". --Tesscass (talk) 17:46, 9 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
