[edit]I expanded the coverage of Wiesner's early unpublished work, which later appeared in two papers "Conjugate Coding" published in 1983 (which introduced quantum money and quantum multiplexing) and "Communication via one- and two-particle operators on Einstein-Podolsky Rosen states" published in 1992, which introduced superdense coding, and was based on his unpublished notes of two decades earlier. As one of the physicists who circulated Wiesner's manuscripts and ideas among other physicists during the 1970's and 1980's I can attest to his influence in stimulating the development of the field of quantum information.CharlesHBennett (talk) 01:52, 4 November 2011 (UTC)
Death
[edit]Wiesner has passed away yesterday (August 12, 2021), after suffering from the Parkinson disease. Unfortunately, I don't have a source for that in public record. 77.127.165.75 (talk) 21:00, 13 August 2021 (UTC)
