Name

Should we be calling her Stephanie of Castile? I always thought that illegitimate children of monarchs shouldn't be style that. The Spanish article seems to call her and her illegitimate half-sister Estefanía Alfonso and Urraca Alfonso, using their father's name. But it would be weird to translate that into English and call her Stephanie Alfonso.--Queen Elizabeth II's Little Spy (talk) 05:20, 3 May 2011 (UTC)

As Queen Elizabeth II's Little Spy said, in Spanish she is referred to as Estefanía Alfonso but in most English references she is known as Stephanie the Unfortunate, however I was unsure that would be a good name, however I do see the queen of France is referred to as Joan the Lame rather than Joan of Burgundy, I suppose that makes nicknames more acceptable as article titles. No you probably shouldn't because it sounds ackward. Although you should mention it in the article. I just mentioned it because at first it only called her Stephanie of Castile without mentioning that she was really Stephanie Alfonso, but now that you did, it's okay.--Queen Elizabeth II's Little Spy (talk) 23:25, 4 May 2011 (UTC)
