Call Marcus

[edit]

has no one else noticed the references to Marcus? who is marcus? why?

I can explain, if you watch the old Stella shorts, (http://www.collegehumor.com/user:398) and watch the "Turkey Hunting" episode, that is the origin of the "Who's Marcus?" joke. This episode also contains other jokes that were later re-used for the TV series.

There is no Marcus, Black just says "call Marcus" after they kill the hunting instructor and Showalter asks "who's Marcus?," and Black goes "I don't know." You just sort of have to go w/ Stella to get the humor, there's not always a meaning to everything.

added a section: recurring elements

[edit]

I'm a huge fan of this show as well as the previous stuff these guys have done, so I added a sort of 'trivia' section called "recurring elements" which points out some jokes that seem integral to the series. I think the info is pretty accurate (all the elements I mention do happen throughout the series a lot) but I don't know how relevant it is, I just noticed it from watching the show and thought I'd add it.

If anyone wants to delete this section of info from it, please explain why here before you do and see what others think.

Date of show's airing

[edit]

This show was definitely not on in 2003... it was on during the summer of 2005. On an unrelated note, i still miss it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.211.61.212 (talk) 02:59, 8 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
