Birth Name
[edit]According to ancestry.com, Stefanie Zofya Paul was born on Nov. 2, 1942 in Los Angeles. Her mother's maiden name was Golen. There is no mention of the name Federkiewicz; the name must have been changed.
Name: Stefanie Zofya Paul Birth Date: 2 Nov 1942 Gender: Female Mother's Maiden Name: Golen Birth County: Los Angeles Ronfish56 (talk) 01:21, 4 April 2010 (UTC)
- I have seen the name Federkiewicz mentioned in articles. Here is an article about it: http://www.poles.org/db/f_names/federkiewicz_s/federkiewicz_s.html Her name is mentioned as Stefania Zofia Federkiewicz. The article should mention the Federkiewicz name somewhere. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.184.177.76 (talk) 09:26, 1 June 2013 (UTC)
- Will all due respect, that is irrelevent. She was born Stefanie Zofya Paul per California Birth Registration records (see here). Please do not change it back again. Quis separabit? 14:09, 3 April 2014 (UTC)
The Mormon website, Family Search, has a photocopy of the parents' marriage license. The father's name was Paul Morrison Bloomfield, his country of birth was Canada. The family decided to use Paul as the last name at some later time. The mother's name was Dmitria Golen, her country of birth was Poland. Federkiewicz was Dmitria's mother's maiden name. Jewish
[edit]Why is there no mention of the fact that she is Jewish? (109.150.55.191 (talk) 09:35, 27 December 2016 (UTC))
- Father's last name was Paul (Saul) Bloomfield. Morrison was a stage name. They were from Romania. Only child born in the America's.
- Stefanie passed away shortly before her mother's passing, I'm afraid 😢. My mother was her first cousin. Her nickname was, in fact, Taffi. Her semi-biographical play was about her ties to Chicago and Detroit and her father. 2600:1700:BA90:5130:C8DD:CC77:47F3:8042 (talk) 19:37, 23 March 2024 (UTC)
- Also , Stefani Powers passed away in 2007 from lung cancer is my understanding. 2600:1700:BA90:5130:C8DD:CC77:47F3:8042 (talk) 19:51, 23 March 2024 (UTC)

The career section needs a re-write
[edit]Kudos to all of the people who inserted the wealth of detail but it's choppy and lacks a strong narrative structure. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.51.28.196 (talk) 14:31, 23 October 2019 (UTC)
Bionic Woman
[edit]This needs a source before it can be added to the article, but she was reportedly a candidate to play Jaime Sommers before the role went to Lindsay Wagner. Powers was subsequently cast as an alien woman in four of the famous "Bigfoot" episodes of Six Million Dollar Man and Bionic Woman, and the latter references this by having Bigfoot be reminded of Powers' character. 2604:3D09:1F74:1C00:4472:142B:5ECA:63D0 (talk) 13:45, 15 June 2024 (UTC)
