Stay the Ride Alive - exaggeration
[edit]Recently, it were a lot of edits, but I won't go into some questionable details what should be carefully reconsidered..
Stay the Ride Alive article has a question, does to leave no-use references ( no offence, this links as references is really no-sense, but if there is any reason, like "until it's release" or something, to note ), and External Links from Oricon with names for every single, it is more clear and every external link is individual reference.--GreyWolfy (talk) 20:38, 17 December 2009 (UTC)
- The references have uses. The IP who fought their inclusion was a fruitcake.—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 20:46, 17 December 2009 (UTC)
- My opinion is to remove that references, or to put them under "external links", you aren't basically wrong- but for article good yes, their use is far from the minimal ( that don't need a reference photos of covers enough ), and would be much better to put them under Oricon, example to be Koakuma Heaven. It's more cleaner.--GreyWolfy (talk) 21:59, 17 December 2009 (UTC)
- Getting rid of references to turn them into external links is not how Wikipedia works. They are being used as references to show that there is a CD version, a CD+DVD version, and the "special memorial single" version. What's good for one article isn't good for all articles, particularly because this single won't be released for several weeks.—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 22:04, 17 December 2009 (UTC)
- Threat blocking my account shows some internal problems, and not in accordance with the rules on Wikipedia or Humanity (either, I am not removing all links ). I say, these references do not have benefits, in fact, meaningless a place for such information. If you were reading more carefuly, you would see that this link : http://www.oricon.co.jp/news/music/70018/ (or as the 2nd in the article references ) has both information, so you can use it for both verification, or, just for one. Photos of the covers, are either a good proof. Article don't need so big number of references, when all reference has 80% information about the article..
- Co-operate for Wikipedia good--GreyWolfy (talk) 14:21, 7 January 2010 (UTC)
- Stop removing the references or you will be blocked. The information being used is that one link shows the standard version, another link shows the CD+DVD version, and the last link shows the "special memorial single". All have different information to show. You have done nothing to show that you know that these links are here for a reason. If you remove them, again, I will report you to be blocked.—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 23:07, 7 January 2010 (UTC)
- I removed this three Oricon links/references, and replaced them with a link that explains everything, and removed a actor blog link showing he will be featured in the promotional video, Dears News is enough. Either, I added external "avex Decade" link, since they were released over this label, and a special Motteco web book link ( report from the promotional video making, and either, could be used as a verifiation for various information regarding the article.--GreyWolfy (talk) 14:57, 8 January 2010 (UTC)
- Now this is much better than removing the three Oricon links. I apologize for my initial bluntness.—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 00:08, 9 January 2010 (UTC)
- There is still a lot of work to do.--GreyWolfy (talk) 16:52, 9 January 2010 (UTC)
- There is nothing else to write about here other than its charting success.—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 23:44, 9 January 2010 (UTC)
