How exactly are SOA a straight edge band???

Because they were part of that very early movement, perhaps?

Name Change

I know there's always been a debate on what the official name of the band is, but I believe the proper name is S.O.A. and not State of Alert. First, on the No Policy EP cover it says "S.O.A." Also, in all the interviews and memoirs I have seen or read by people from the scene at the time (Henry Rollins, Jeff Nelson, Ian MacKaye, etc.) they have always referred to the band as "S.O.A." As such, I propose that the title of this article is changed to S.O.A. Wall Screamer (talk) 04:02, 10 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
