Pictures please !

Please would someone supply images of startssing blocks in use ? Showing the posture of the athlete when using the blocks ? Even diagrams would be very helpful, or a link to where this information can be found. Many thanks ! Darkman101 (talk) 03:28, 15 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

1929?

Starting blocks are said to be introduced in 1929, however Jack London is said to be an early user, for instance on the 1928 Summer Olympics in Amsterdam. How can that be? Lymantria (talk) 10:20, 28 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
