There are two different Star Sirius supply boats being referenced here.
[edit]Star Sirius 1975 is not the same vessel as the star Sirius of 1993.
The 1975 vessel which was involved in the Cod War was built in the Netherlands but left Aberdeen in 1980 after being sold to a company based in Singapore and was renamed several times and is now called the Hercules. IMO: 7409384 MMSI: 616792000
Here's the original Star Sirius in Singapore in 1984, it was renamed the Cherdek in 1980 and I was on board when it sailed away from Aberdeen in 1980 after being sold. https://www.shipspotting.com/photos/2614292 — Preceding unsigned comment added by Godgirl (talk • contribs) 20:47, 10 December 2024 (UTC)
