Not on ZDF

Werbung im Rundfunk GmbH was the sales vehicle for Hessischer Rundfunk, the local broadcasting company for hesse. At the time there was a regional early evening schedule on the otherwise national first network ARD where each region would get local news, advertising and light entertainment. Star maidens was undoubtedly transmitted in this timeslot to viewers in hesse, but other regions would often see different programmes or different episodes. TV Movie

I was introduced to this series by a TV movie edited for a two-hour time slot, using sequences from some of the 13 episodes. There is no reference to this movie in the article.

The movie included the voiceover about how Medusa came to be in the Earth's system, Adam and Shem escape to Earth, being met by the institute personnel, then Octavia and Fulvia arriving; proceeds with the mechanical doctor fixing Rudy's eyes, the toxic rain, the proton storm, the enemy. Not shown are interactions by the Medusans with police, ministers and such, the Nightmare Cannon, the trial householding, Rose, the End of Time, the artificial intelligence devices in episode 12.
