The result of the move request was: Not moved. Even if Star turns out to be how Bituin is known in English, that wouldn't make the Bituin show into the primary topic of 'Star'. So I've redirected Star (TV series) to Star (disambiguation). Let me know if anyone disagrees. I gather that there is no wide agreement on partial disambiguation, i.e. whether XX (YY) should be allowed to have a primary topic that is not the same as the primary topic of XX. (See the essay at WP:PDAB). Thus Star (TV series) shouldn't go to the upcoming American show even if it's the most famous TV series of that name. Star (2016 TV series)Star (TV series) – The Filipino series would not be considered that popular on the English Wikipedia. – 2601:8C:4001:DCF4:1869:C5E8:1DC:2AA2 (talk) 01:33, 2 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Star (2016 TV series)Star (U.S. TV series) – It seems more logical to use the country of origin to disambiguate this series from Bituin, particularly since the latter series is apparently in Tagalog. Star (Filipino TV series) (in addition to Star (2002 TV series)) already redirects to Bituin. According to WP:NCTV, year of series debut should be used to disambiguate series airing on the same network (although in practice, television series articles that technically should probably be disambiguated by network are often disambiguated by year instead). – Quick and Dirty User Account (talk) 10:55, 17 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Seasons

[edit]

Once the shows makes it to its second season, make sure to add a cast table and give each season their own individual pages. Zhyboo (talk) 14:48, 22 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

There is a List of Star episodes created that currently redirects here. When further info on the second season is known (i.e. episode titles) then the table can be moved there. However, separate season articles require strong, supportive, and sourced information, in order to be created. — Wyliepedia 20:26, 8 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I would like helping creating articles for 2 actresses who play roles on the tv series Star_(TV_series)

[edit]

The 2 actress who play roles on Star named Brittany O'Grady and Amiyah Scott don't cureently have articles. Would these articles make good reliable sources:http://www.kingamiyahscott.com/about/ https://heightline.com/amiyah-scott-married-husband-boyfriend-wiki-bio/ http://wikinetworth.com/celebrities/brittany-o-grady-age-birthday-parents-ethnicity-boyfriend-dating.html Callistoxena (talk) 05:02, 9 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Peer Review

[edit]

This Tv series article has a few key points. This article has a great detailed explanation as to who each individual is and the role they play in the show. I was impressed by Amiyah Scott being the third transgender to play a transgender major character in a television drama in America.I was also who'd by the television being canceled after only their third season. Also, Lee Daniels wasn’t able to find anyone to pick the show up with the show having such a wide fan base.

There are a few minor things that I would change to improve this article. I would first add in more citations to the first four paragraphs of the article so that, the information more reliable for the people who haven’t seen the show yet. I would also, use the source I have to add in more information about why the show was canceled. Another thing I would add to, is William Levy’s role should be more detail because, he is a main character in Star. Stephen Dorff only premiered in a few episodes in Season 2 then he died. So, he should be recurring character instead of the mai character. KeKe Palmer has been in the show for two seasons and should be a main character instead of a recurring character.

The most important change I would make to this article is citations, having reliable citation makes the article reliable to someone who hasn’t seen the show. Another important change I would make to this article is the organization. A section should be placed at the to of the article labeled “background” or “about”. Then, the “production” section should be right after the background or about section. Following the production section, I would place the explanation of characters after it. Then, the pilot section because the objective is to tell about the background of the show rather than promote the show. Cbrown98 (talk) 00:39, 25 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
First of all, William Levy is credited as part of the main cast while KeKe Palmer isn't credited as part of the main cast on the on-screen credits. We go by MOS:TVCAST, not how editors want each actors/characters to be. — YoungForever(talk) 00:53, 25 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
