Stub
[edit]I believe this article is horribly inadequate and have thus added the stub tag. I have asked someone who is very familiar with Fr. Jaki to assist in its expansion. ludahai 魯大海 12:16, 27 May 2007 (UTC)
Also, I'm not sure the statement claiming that Godel's theorem dooms TOE, in the sense that it is being conveyed in the article, is entirely accurate. It is possible to have a TOE on your hands, but you simply wouldn't be able to PROVE it, which for all intents and purposes, is an extension of empiricism (and should have been obvious to all these "big wigs" strutting around; Jaki makes this point quite clear in his article on the subject). --~ —Preceding unsigned comment added by 63.107.91.99 (talk) 15:20, 11 October 2007 (UTC)
Home page
[edit]Doesn't he have a home page? I could only find http://www.shu.edu/academics/artsci/physics/faculty.cfm . --Aleph4 (talk) 10:03, 28 April 2008 (UTC)
Major Areas of Thought
[edit]Hi,
I am hoping to add a section on Jaki's major areas of thought and would appreciate any input. At the moment it would cover:
- Godel
- Brain, Minds and Computers
- Origin of Science
Anything else I have missed out? I believe he also added to some of Hempel's Philosophy of Science, but I'd have to dig the book out to confirm. Pluke (talk) 23:26, 12 February 2011 (UTC)
