[edit]Firstly he did not become the president of the APA by magic. He was the co-founder long-time director of what for a long time was the largest community health clinic not affiliated with a hospital. His clinic became a model for other clinics that came after, making mental health care much more widely available. This is not something that any of his contemporaries would dispute. This is his major achievement is this, not being president of APA for one year.
Secondly he was a proponent of long-term therapy, not short-term therapy. What was written in the book that is cited is a mistake. This would not be disputed by 99.9% of his contemporaries.
My father never sought publicity. He has written many articles which are not cited. Several articles have been written about him, about his work and awards in the APA. So far I cannot find any articles about his clinic or his post-graduate program because he never sought publicity for his role in these endeavors.
Unfortunately, I have other obligations. I cannot keep posting perfectly valid information and having it disputed, and I am very disillusioned to see Wikipedia's role in propagating false information. XjerNewYork (talk) 16:17, 1 July 2023 (UTC)
