Untitled
[edit]I notice this article is under threat of deletion due to lack of notability. I don't know how to enter into discussion about this, so this may be the wrong place. However, i would say this should be kept because there's a lot of confusion between this building and the Stanford Hall in Lutterworth, which is notable due to its use as a venue, and if this article is deleted it may lead to confusion for people who are looking for the other one.

Future Development...
[edit]I read that there is going to be a development of a Retirement village in the grounds! what a shame since they are beautiful!! surely they cant be developing close to the hall as that would be a tragic mistake, which would spoil the setting!
who owns it today? I would be interested in visiting if they have open days??

Wine auction
[edit]Not worthy of comment in the main article, but perhaps of passing interest to researchers, is an auction, by Messrs. Christie, Manson & Woods, starting on 28 June 1900, “Of The Cellar of Wines (Of about 900 Dozens) of Richard Ratcliff, Esq., Deceased; late of Stanford Hall, Loughborough”. My picture #20404.
