Stabilator

I'm not an expert, just an enthusiast. The 2nd sentence of this article, in part reads 'longitudinal stability'. I believe this is wrong and should read 'lateral stability'. Stabilator and elevator control surfaces provide control over the 'pitch axis'. SDRiches (talk) 15:00, 24 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

It is correct, see aircraft principal axes and aircraft flight dynamics. Lateral stability is often provided by dihedral. Nimbus (Cumulus nimbus floats by) 15:27, 24 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
