Do we really need this page?
[edit]Does this page really need to exist? It describes a "former village" which is now a suburb of St Albans. If that's all that can be said about it, I don't think it's notable enough to deserve its own page. And how does St Stephens relate to the nearby St Stephen, Hertfordshire? --David Edgar 17:53, 11 January 2007 (UTC)
- St Stephen is the ancient parish. It was partly within the borough of St Albans and mostly outside. In 1894 the part within the borough ceased to be part of the parish. As an added complication the former part of the parish in the borough appears to be known as St Stephen's. This is a small area and probably doesn't require its own article. It should be covered in the St Albans article unless there is more to say that will fit there. MRSC (talk) 13:03, 29 November 2013 (UTC)
