The hook appears to link to the wrong article: St Leonard's Place instead of St Leonard's Place Hoard (which perhaps also should have a lower-case H in the article title, assuming it's a descriptive name). Assuming the nomination is indeed for the hoard article, it's long and new enough with no copyright issues found. One of the sources is from 1881, and although it's not used to support anything controversial, it would be good if it could be replaced with something more recent, or if the article could mention when the information is from. The hook is short, interesting and supported by good sources in the article. Ffranc (talk) 14:11, 11 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Hello Ffranc - thanks for your review, apologies for the mistake I made when I set up the DYK - too much haste on my part. I've added the date of the 1881 reference to the body of the text (sources are limited as the coinage is under-researched). Thank you Victuallers for tidying things up. I've also moved the page to a lower-case 'hoard'. Please let me know if there's anything else I can do. Lajmmoore (talk) 10:13, 13 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
The Contents section mentions that the find included coins of the kings Eanred, Aethelred II, Redwulf and Osberht, and those of the archbishops Eanbald, Wigmund and Wulfhere; while the Acquisition section mentions coins of Eanred, Archbishop Eanbald II, Aethelred II, Archbishop Wigmund, Redwulf, Osberht and Archbishop Wulfhere. Re-ordering the latter to facilitate comparison with the former gives
Eanred, Aethelred II, Redwulf, Osberht, and archbishops Eanbald, Wigmund and Wulfhere
Eanred, Aethelred II, Redwulf, Osberht, and archbishops Eanbald II, Wigmund and Wulfhere
1. Is Eanbald II a typo? Should it be just Eanbald? If not, why isn't Eanbald II shown in Contents?
2. The list in Acquisition is very similar to the list in Contents, apart from the question of Eanbald II ... so what's the point of the second list? It adds no additional info, and doesn't relate to Acquisition anyway. Prisoner of Zenda (talk) 09:53, 21 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
