Only Raid of WWI?

[edit]

The WWI memorial is described as bearing names of civilians killed in:

the naval bombardment of 16 December 1914, the German Navy's only raid on mainland Britain in the war. (emphasis on only added by me)

I question the veracity of it being unique - Lowestoft was bombarded by the same German Navy in 1916.Cloptonson (talk) 06:31, 17 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
