Two thoughts
[edit]Two thoughts: 1) isn't only the main part of the building (Schuster House) listed?; and 2) shouldn't this be at the combined name of St Anselm Hall with Canterbury Court (which I seem to recall is now the administrative title of the whole Kent Road East complex)?

Nickname
[edit]A recent edit added the fact that the hall's nickname ("Slem's") arose from a newspaper error, but cites no source for this change. Can anyone provide a source for this change? If not, I'll revert it again. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 13:38, 21 December 2012 (UTC)
The account of the establishment of the bar in the basement is incorrect. There was no bar as such until one was built in the snooker room which was in the basement of Schuster House, and not in the Open JCR at any time. The snooker table was then moved to the bike "shed" in the basement under the dining hall extension. This was indeed in the early 1970s. I was there.
It is also true that only the original house, previously owned by Arthur Schuster and now physically embedded into later additions, is listed. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Medievalquack (talk • contribs) 22:21, 13 June 2017 (UTC)
Communal dinner toasts
[edit]I am assuming the toast should be changed to "The King, the Duke of Lancaster." Is there a reason not to? —C.Fred (talk) 12:47, 10 February 2023 (UTC)
