St Albans railway station → St Albans station – There are five St Albans stations at the moment listed in this disambiguation page. It seems to me that "St Albans station" would be more in line with the guidelines detailed in WP:UKSTATION and WP:USSTATION. FFM784 (talk) 01:24, 4 February 2016 (UTC)
- Comment Saint Albans station would seem better, since we don't have to choose between US English "St." and UK English "St" ; with "station" there are also non-rail stations, such as Saint Albans Air Force Station , Saint-Alban Nuclear Power Plant -- 70.51.200.135 (talk) 07:50, 4 February 2016 (UTC)
- I would be inclined to change the name to St Albans station as first proposed, for the following reasons (a) the concise name for each of these stations is either "St Albans" or "St. Albans" WP:CONCISE, (b) none of these station names, as far as I am aware, is normally spelled out as "Saint Albans station", and (c) there seems to be some technical issue with the use of a period(full stop) in the name of an article WP:TSC.
