Cathedral?
[edit]This church is not the Cathedral of RCC in Kiev. The Co-Cathedral is rather saint Alexander's and the cathedral is in Žytomyr. --Avemundi (talk) 19:14, 31 January 2009 (UTC)
- indeed, i can't find anything indicating the church ever being or even having been planned to become a cathedral. I suspect it's a linguistic issue with equating a cathedral with a large gothic church when translating the article from Ukrainian. If no one opposes I'd suggest moving the article to St. Nicholas Roman Catholic Church, Kyiv ( not St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Kyiv as suggested below as there are also other churches dedicated to St. Nicholas in the city such as for example Church of St. Nicholas (Askold's Grave), thus that should be a disambiguation page). — Preceding unsigned comment added by 91.189.72.1 (talk) 14:58, 3 October 2015 (UTC)
Roman Catholic
[edit]Is not part of the name of the cathedral. The article should be renamed to St. Nicholas Cathedral, Kyiv (Kiev)--Hatteras (talk) 14:17, 27 April 2010 (UTC)
