St. Mary's, Nova ScotiaMunicipality of the District of St. Mary's – move over redirect per established consensus at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Nova Scotia#Municipal districts are actually district municipalities (potential article moves) Hwy43 (talk) 01:19, 16 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

This is a contested technical request (permalink). Anthony Appleyard (talk) 05:42, 16 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
As this is the only possible topic in the world that would compete for the title of "Municipality of the District of St. Mary's", disambiguation beyond that is not necessary. It is a unique name unless there is another municipality out there with the exact same official legal name. Hwy43 (talk) 06:15, 16 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Agree with Hwy43, there is only one place called Municipality of the District of St. Mary's on earth, so disambiguation would be redundant and go against encyclopedic convention of parsimonious titles. Mattximus (talk) 22:32, 16 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Agreed, move it. At best a disambig is in order. WayeMason (talk) 23:45, 16 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • What I think should be changed: Municipality of the District of St. Mary's wiki page.

In October 2024 with the municipal election there was a municipal boundary review, which created 5 five districts. (used to be 7 seven districts) https://www.saint-marys.ca/ I would like to include our business hours such as Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 4:00 pm. I have a picture of our Municipal Logo/Seal id like updated the one that it shows is from 1900's. Would it be possible to get a phone call or email from someone that can update this information?

My email: jadzia.rudolph@saint-marys.ca

Thank you,

  •  Note: I'm not sure why you want to include business hours.
OTOH, if you want to upload your municipal seal/logo, please follow the instructions here to contact volunteer response team. ⸺(Random)staplers 05:31, 11 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, I would like all information updated. we have people call all day every day saying that the information is wrong and that we should be updating it. When i try its Conflict of Interest.
I am trying to reach out to do this the proper way but its really confusing.
Wrong information wiki has:
5 districts instead of 7
Warden is James Fuller, not Michael Mosher
Under references: you have 2016 election we had one in 2020 and 2024.
I will try and update the municipal logo/seal thought that link you sent me. Jadzia Rudolph (talk) 13:51, 11 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

It seems this article has come under scrutiny due to COI editing. Upon reviewing the edit history it's clear to me that @Jadzia Rudolph was editing in good faith, but made some mistakes along the way.

I would note that the incorrect information regarding the Warden of St. Mary's remained on this page unsourced, despite the fact that the edits of the above user were reverted for being unsourced. I went ahead and made these adjustments and added citations.

Just for reference, I do not have any affiliation with the Municipality of St. Mary's, other than the fact that I've been to Sherbrooke Village a few times. Kylemahar902 (talk) 14:03, 15 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
