Expansion

[edit]

I have added some material about the cathedral's history. Do we know who the architect was? I'd like to see more description of the current building and any associated facilities. Is there a school? Is there an adjacent high-rise senior residence that is affiliated with the cathedral? (I had the impression that there is.) --MelanieN (talk) 15:55, 18 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I also created a redirect from St. Joseph's Cathedral, San Diego. --MelanieN (talk) 16:04, 18 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
They do have a high rise next to the cathedral and a cafe under the cathedral. Last time I was their I didn't see a school though their could be a preschool. I also can't find the architect after doing a search. Spongie555 (talk) 18:57, 18 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

This rank is simply senseless, except some churches on the top of the list, many others don't look big at all, they are surely much smaller than ten thousands other churches around the world. In the list I find churches which are less than 1500 square meters... like Saint Joseph cathedral in San Diego or Cathedral of St. Francis in Santa Fe. I live in a small town in Italy, and there are at least 10 churches bigger than those ones.
