The brief list of organisations managed by the Sree Narayana Trust can be included in the Trust's article. Cpt.a.haddock (talk) 11:12, 15 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I've often wondered this. As the list article is currently organised, it seems that not all of the institutions are managed by the Trust. In fact, there is one specific section for the Trust and a host of others - mostly containing a single entry - for other charitable/whatever groups. I'm sometimes even wondered why we bother with the list at all. - Sitush (talk) 11:16, 15 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@Sitush: Hmm. Maybe all that needs doing is an edit of the lead of the list article to note that these are institutions founded on the principles of Narayana Guru rather than focus on the SNDP alone. Or perhaps the list should be replaced by a category and only SDNP institutions included here. There's also a Sree Dharma Paripalana Yogam which is probably a dupe of this article (although its (dead) website prefers SDPY to SDNP). --Cpt.a.haddock (talk) 12:51, 15 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I'd be happy with a category of some sort. Unfortunately, WP:ARS will oppose any attempt to delete the list - they do so every time, arguing that there is some consensus for having both cats and lists but mainly because they seem to like being awkward, imo. - Sitush (talk) 12:54, 15 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

S N Trust and SNDP

[edit]

Is Sree Narayana Trust the same as Sree Narayana Dharma Paripalana (SNDP) Yogam, as the first sentence of the article seems to suggest?[1][2] BudChrSch (talk) 23:02, 12 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
