Obviously a parody of the Spruce Goose, I think this has been mentioned in several works of fiction. While I don't have the resources to expand it mself, I seem to remember this in a Disney Afternoon show (Ducktales or TaleSpin, maybe?) and the current "article" mentions a Simpsons reference. -- WikidSmaht (talk) 19:53, 19 October 2005 (UTC) (Note: I didn't create it, just saw it as a speedy candidate.)[reply]

Simpsons "Model"

[edit]

I'm not sure the "model" of the Spruce Moose was actually a "model" - I think that was the actual "Spruce Moose". This is evidenced by the fact that when Mr. Smithers says "That's quite a nice model." Mr. Burns replies, "Model?" --DeanHarding 04:57, 6 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

    • Later in that same episode, Mr. Burns tells Mr. Smithers that he could just take the "Spruce Moose" and Mr. Smithers objects saying "it is only a model!" and then Mr.Burns brandishes a revolver, cocks it and points it at Mr.Smithers and demands, "Get in!" **

(Keep in mind the model is the size of a model car) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.182.65.140 (talk) 19:45, 14 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
