Safety
[edit]Can someone please put a better resource for how someone could hurt their hips and thighs with a spreader bar? That seems pretty darn relevant, but the footnote isn't an online source. A preliminary Google search is not helping me out. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.225.14.78 (talk) 07:02, 20 July 2011 (UTC)
Gender bias?
[edit]Umm, a person with a spreader bar on their wrists can't cover their genitals regardless of their sex. So why emphasise "if the wearer is a man"? — JIP | Talk 09:29, 14 July 2005 (UTC)
- Agreed: the previous version didn't mention the gender of the wearer at all. I also think the new wording ("unrestricted gazing and touching of the wearer") is little bit patronising.
- How's this as a compromise version? —Ghakko 11:42, 14 July 2005 (UTC)
- I originally added the text, because the article then mentioned only breasts and genitals between legs, and therefore assumed that only women can act in a bottom role. But the article has improved, so the emphasis is no longer needed and can be omitted. -Hapsiainen 13:18, August 26, 2005 (UTC)
Picture
[edit]With the current picture, I found it hard to see where exactly the spreader bar is, without looking at the fullsize image (as the spreader bar is hidden in the boundary between the floor and wall). Does anyone have a more clear picture? -Mairi 18:09, 17 July 2005 (UTC)
- Yes, you are right. I will upload in 1-2 days a better picture of this series. --Raymond de 06:38, 18 July 2005 (UTC)
Bondage Yoke Link
[edit]The link bondage yoke seems to go to a page about oxen but not necessarily about an actual bondage yoke. In theory there should be a Yoke (BDSM) link and a page created specifically for that. Medic48 03:05, 16 August 2007 (UTC)
Vandalism
[edit]It's tiring to deal all the time with vandals like the one editing here? . Why is it that they are encouraged on the wiki instead of being controlled and kept from spreading their ideas? --Johjons94 (talk) 16:40, 18 July 2016 (UTC)
