* Fix project template and/or "to do list" Current version causes tables of content to be hidden unless/until reader chooses "show."

Baseball in Edmonton

I don't think an article solely on Edmonton's baseball history is needed. Such articles don't even exist for cities that have had MLB teams. The article's content should be merged into Sport in Edmonton. --MTLskyline (talk) 03:54, 13 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

What is defined as a championship?

For the purposes of the table at the beginning, what are we defining as a championship? I'd personally assume it would be a cup/league/title win at a provincial/regional or national/international level. Thoughts? Zadora13 (talk) 12:45, 27 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

That sounds reasonable. Is there some specific case that raises the question? Some sports have multiple levels of post-season play. For example if a team wins the WHL championship but doesn't win the Memorial Cup, should they get a tick in the champs column? I would say yes. But we should try to find reliable sources for the number of championships rather than tally them up ourselves - that's WP:OR. Indefatigable (talk) 16:05, 27 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
