Football soccer?

[edit]

I see that there's an issue with the football soccer thing there. How is that pov pushing though? It was agreed that soccer would be football (soccer) to clear out the confusions but I guess it would be ok not having the soccer because it's not called soccer over there. Why is this such a big deal anyway?--THUGCHILDz 15:10, 28 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Sport in China

[edit]

This article should be renamed 'Sport in China', in line with similar articles: Sport in Singapore, Sport in France, Sport in Germany etc. Earthlyreason (talk) 07:03, 17 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

I see this was recently changed into a disam page, whilst this is not a problem for many of the links to this page which seem to be about recent athletes who can be linked to their correct country / part of China, there are a few problem links.

For example:

These two link to this page but they cant really be redirected to any of the articles currently on the list. As there is a general article at China i would of thought some general article on sports in china (even if it doesnt have this main article spot) would of been useful. There are probably more examples than just the two mentioned. BritishWatcher (talk) 14:21, 22 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
