Help to improve articles related to Brazil in Simple English Wikipedia. If you are not fluent in English, that is the right place.
Some changes to the English etc
[edit]Hi, I made a few changes to the English and formatting in the article to make it scan slightly better for a native speaker. (eg using 1-0 to represent scores rather than 1x0). Post here if you disagree with anything - it would be nice to improve this article now Sport have been promoted again.--Gavinio 00:21, 28 November 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks. Keep up the good work. --Carioca 00:25, 28 November 2006 (UTC)
- Ha - I'll try. If anyone wants to add in some information from the Portuguese Version then add it in, and I'll try to make some sense of it. What I'm saying is - feel free to add it even if your English isn't that good, and I'll do my best to quickly sort it out. Obviously would have to be in some sort of English, as my Portuguese isn't what it was and this is the English Wikipedia! --Gavinio
Updates
[edit]I'll do my best to keep the squad current, but anyone who follows Brazilian football knows that the players move often and quickly. Zerologic 13:43, 31 January 2007 (UTC)
- Good stuff - do you know anything about the Torcieda Jovem or whatever they're called? I think a paragraph on the unofficial fanclubs would be good. I've forgotten most of what I knew! --Gavinio 12:19, 2 February 2007 (UTC)
Sure, I can do that. And, actually, they aren't unofficial at all. They get support from the club itself. Zerologic 14:44, 2 February 2007 (UTC)
Done. Zerologic 15:37, 2 February 2007 (UTC)
1987 First division championship
[edit]First division championship in 1987 ???????? This a lie!!! —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 81.172.89.249 (talk • contribs).
- According to the Brazilian Football Confederation (Confederação Brasileira de Futebol), which is the only official source available, Sport won the 1987 championship. So, I reverted your edit. Regards, --Carioca 23:51, 3 June 2007 (UTC)
Updates

Updated Sport logo needed
[edit]Sport updated its logo after the conquest of Copa do Brasil championship. It now has two large golden stars on the upper edges and a smaller silver one on the upper middle.
Please update the logo. Robfbms (talk) 05:51, 29 June 2008 (UTC)
- You can upload yourself. Just remember to mention the source and also add a fair use rationale. --Carioca (talk) 18:19, 29 June 2008 (UTC)
