Is it worth mentioning that the fact that the creatures see heat the way they do and the way they find that out and exploit that is slightly similar too tremors 2? Just brain storming here.Derelix (talk) 00:42, 22 March 2009 (UTC)
Move?
[edit]- The following discussion is an archived discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the move request was no consensus to move, defaulting to original, Splinter (2008 film). kotra (talk) 20:30, 5 August 2009 (UTC)
Splinter (2008 film) → Splinter (film) —
- Splinter (2008 film) → Splinter (film) — Splinter (film) redirects to Splinter (2008 film). There's only one film for Splinter. — Enter Movie (talk) 03:25, 28 July 2009 (UTC)
- Oppose. There have been at least 6 movies with that title. See this list on IMDB. --Una Smith (talk) 03:36, 28 July 2009 (UTC)
- There are also at least 20 towns or cities named Paris. The capital of France is at the undisambiguated title because that's the one readers will most often be looking for. Here, the situation isn't even that complicated. There's only one article they could possibly be directed to, so there's no need for disambiguation. Jafeluv (talk) 05:50, 28 July 2009 (UTC)
- Your point? There is nothing wrong with the current page name nor its incoming links, so leave it alone. --Una Smith (talk) 18:51, 28 July 2009 (UTC)

- Support. We don't disambiguate until needed. Jafeluv (talk) 05:50, 28 July 2009 (UTC)
- Oppose. According to the imdb list there are three feature films with this title. If the others were all shorts, Splinter (flim) would be appropriate, but with two others, albeit ones awaiting articles, the present article name seems the most appropriate. It would only have to be moved back again at a later date when they acquire articles. The suggested article title doesn't offer any advantages to the current one, since it will be reached via a disambig page one way or the other. DionysosProteus (talk) 12:05, 28 July 2009 (UTC)
- Support per WP:NCF. This article was originally at Splinter (film) which currently redirects here anyway. Station1 (talk) 17:01, 28 July 2009 (UTC)
- Mild oppose This may be the only article about a film called Splinter, but since other films of that name exist it seems prudent to keep this article here. Not having a Wikipedia article does not necessarily mean something is non-notable. YeshuaDavid • Talk • 21:20, 28 July 2009 (UTC)
Comments
[edit]I found only one incoming link to Splinter (film) and it did not intend this one. I changed the link from Nickolas Grace to Splinter (2005 film). --Una Smith (talk) 18:51, 28 July 2009 (UTC)

Expansion
[edit]This article is incomplete and mostly consists of a plot summery. Information on the film's production, and theatrical/home media releases are completely absent from the article and need to be added for a more balanced coverage. The reception section is too short and needs to have reviews from notable critics added to it with proper citations. Some information in the article is unsourced and needs to be given proper citations for its information. All of these additions and fixes need to occur in order for this article to meet Wikipiedia's guidelines and standards of a well developed/balanced and properly sourced article.--Paleface Jack (talk) 18:42, 6 July 2016 (UTC)
