Summaries
[edit]@Rtkat3: WP:CMOS#PLOT says summarising should never be on a per-issue basis and should only outline the plot rather than describe minor details. This seems to go against this article. Matt14451 (talk) 19:48, 11 October 2018 (UTC)
- What parts are you referring to? If you are also talking about the lead-up and the subplots, this has also been done on the page for "Spider-Verse". --Rtkat3 (talk) 15:27, 12 October 2018 (UTC)
- As Cambalachero (talk · contribs) said, that article has the same problem. Just because another article has the same problem doesn't mean we shouldn't fix it here. Someone even tried to start a discussion on that talk page. Matt14451 (talk) 15:44, 12 October 2018 (UTC)
- That article has the same problem. Cambalachero (talk) 15:34, 12 October 2018 (UTC)
For starting, I would remove the whole "edge of..." section. Those are just filler stories of the alternate spiders, ending with a "we need your help" scene from another spider. I doubt any of that will actually influence the plot of the main event.
And the rest... just 2 issues so far (0 and 1) and it's so long already? We can do it in just one small paragraph. Cambalachero (talk) 15:52, 15 October 2018 (UTC)
- I agree, the level of detail is more appropriate for Wikia. The comics MOS doesn't give a word count for summaries like TV does but it should outline the plot of the series as a whole rather than by issue. Matt14451 (talk) 16:47, 15 October 2018 (UTC)
It seems that the plot section has been returned to the giant-size version. Cambalachero (talk) 22:59, 29 October 2018 (UTC)
