Fly genus

There is a genus of acrocerine fly with the name Sphaerodes and I think a clarification of some sort should be in this article to re-direct people who are looking for the fly rather than the fungus Elspooky (talk) 10:56, 27 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Actually the correct genus is Sphaerops, which itself may be invalid, per Systema Dipterorum. But Sphaerodes does appear to be a beetle species, so if that proves valid then I will create a disambiguation page.--Animalparty-- (talk) 22:15, 25 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
