Redirect Sparodon to Sparodon durbanensis

[edit]

Pigsonthewing, according to the article, Sparodon is a monotypic genus. I do not know if a species has recently been assigned or something similar, but if it is not, the article of the genus should be redirected here. This is one of the Wikipedia policies as you can see here. Super Ψ Dro 11:23, 26 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

That's not a policy. Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 12:33, 26 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Whatever it is, it must be fulfilled. Super Ψ Dro 13:28, 26 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Given your apparent carelessness to fix this, I have already requested the change of title in Wikipedia:Requested moves/Technical requests. Super Ψ Dro 16:17, 27 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
(edit conflict) I agree that this should be moved to Sparodon and have Sparodon durbanensis redirected to the article. With Super Dromaeosaurus's last edit to the article, all the information on that page is now covered here. I don't really see the point of having a separate article. Also, as Super Dromaeosaurus said, WP:MONOTYPICFAUNA encourages this in almost all circumstances, and I don't see why this would be an exceptional circumstance.--SkyGazer 512 Oh no, what did I do this time? 16:20, 27 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
