Although the 2008-07-30 episode of The Steve Dahl Show on WJMK played the Carlton Maloney audio recording of this crash, the recording itself is not included in the Podcast (because they don't have the rights to rebroadcast for download) and I am unable to find a primary source. I've referenced this because of the discussion of existence of the audio and the background on Maloney. AdamKB (talk) 15:35, 30 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Another non-primary but just possibly useful reference to the audio at https://tvnews.vanderbilt.edu/broadcasts/80110
Relevant part of abstract 'Audio-visual expert Carlton Maloney noted aboard ill-fated flight. [Voice of MALONEY - describes takeoff.] Maloney's tape said given to National Trans. Safety Bd.; importance of his tape due to apparent damage of flight and cockpit recorders from plane noted.'
