I'll take this one, comments to follow in due course. Zawed (talk) 09:31, 15 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Lead

  • before the Axis Powers invaded the Soviet Union (Operation Barbarossa) in mid-1941.: rather than having Operation Barbarossa bracketed here, suggest having it pipe-linked on "invaded the Soviet Union" and move the present link of Soviet Union to the "...and the Soviets contracted for design..."

Infobox

  • The "2nd Five-Year Plan" is mentioned here but not in body of article.

Design and description

  • The comment in the lead regarding the decline of Soviet ship design since the Russian revolution is not really reflected in this section, only that the Leningrad-class was unsatisfactory.
  • Add the abbreviation for Odero-Terni-Orlando to this section, and use the abbreviation in the "Construction and career" section.

Construction and career

  • link Sevastopol, Novorossiysk
  • when the Germans invaded on 22 June 1941: suggest "when the Germans invaded the USSR on 22 June 1941"
  • water. 3 crewmen and 56 of her passengers: write out the number so the sentence doesn't start with a numeral.

Other stuff

  • Sources look fine, mostly well known publishers/authors in their field.
  • Image tags OK
  • No dupe links

Other than the above, this is looking in pretty good order, and am placing on hold for now. Cheers,

Thanks for the review. See if my changes are satisfactory.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 14:39, 29 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Passing as GA as I believe that the article meets the necessary criteria. Zawed (talk) 06:32, 6 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
