"two-four tempo"

That doesn't make sense. 2/4 is a time signature; tempo would be the speed of the quarter note or some other note (e.g., half note) beat. The rest of the passage doesn't make more sense:

"alla breve set in a two-four tempo"

Alla breve literally means "to the half note" and is a 2/2 time, not 2/4.

So my suggestion would be that it is in 2/4 time, not alla breve, and that its tempo, as shown in sheet music that you can see here, is Moderato ma con moto. Any disagreements? I will plunge forward and make the change. Ikan Kekek (talk) 10:00, 18 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
