- It is possible - who added the image on the left in this edit? You did! Apology accepted for removing my image. But what is your excuse for deleting the {{unreferenced}} tag? — RHaworth (Talk | contribs) 23:43, 13 August 2009 (UTC)
ANSWER FOR RHAWORTH.... Yes I did upload that image but I could not position it on the right side. Therefore the page looked a mess. So I tried to move your picure but it disapeared. But the page looks good now. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 93gregsonl2 (talk • contribs) 22:13, 15 August 2009 (UTC)
=Third Holder
[edit]Is the third holder still there, or have they knocked it down? If it has gone then could someone please tell me here and delete part of the section 'future' that states that the third holder is still there. Tell us when it was torn down too, with references if possible. Thanks 93gregsonl2 (talk) 21:47, 23 October 2009 (UTC)
Rewrite
[edit]Unless this article is substantually rewritten it will have to be cut back to the bare minimum. The claims are unsupported, the language is completely unsuitable for an encylcopeadia and most constitutes speculation and opinion. Mtaylor848 (talk) 12:16, 27 October 2010 (UTC)
- The current content certainly needs work, although the subject is unusually notable in local perception. Some of this is due to the flatness of the West Lancashire plain and its unusual visibility for a long distance, in a region generally devoid of landmarks.
