Location

[edit]

The article says “Southport is a coastal suburb at the northern end of the Gold Coast, Australia”. More correctly Southport is located near the mid-point of the Gold Coast as the Gold Coast now extends form Coolangatta to Beenleigh. --WikiCats 10:56, 2 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Largest Community

[edit]

Southport, Nerang and Robina all have in the order of 24,000 people. http://www.goldcoast.qld.gov.au/attachment/factsheet_popest2004.pdf Guanaba-Currumbin Valley has 31,000 but this is a region not a suburb.--WikiCats 14:12, 7 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]
