[edit]

The image of Southern Alberta seems much larger than what is mentioned in the article. for example, it seems to include Calgary (or very near it) and Red Deer. --Kmsiever 19:34, 4 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I used an overlay from Alberta Travel for reference, and it's confirmed by the map from Alberta heritage. As defined there, Southern Alberta includes the counties of Knehill, Starland and Wheatland--Qyd 20:05, 4 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Fair enough. It just seems so big. :) --Kmsiever 20:26, 4 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Brooks a primary city?

[edit]

An anonymous user keeps inserting Brooks as a primary city in this article. Brooks is not, in any sense of the term, a primary city. It hasn't been a city for even 2 years yet. I do not know why anyone would think it should be listed in this sentence. Perhaps s/he thinks every city should be listed. I don't know. Nevertheless, the city that is yet to turn 2 has very little effect on the region as a whole. Perhaps I am mistaken. I would prefer to be shown that I am wrong and what verifiable information exists that shows Brooks has an area of influence comparable to Lethbridge or Medicine Hat. --Kmsiever 04:53, 7 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
