Proposed move
[edit]The formal name is Sopkarginsky mammoth, or (in better English) Sopkarga mammoth. Better to place this article at Sopkarga mammoth. I will move it if no one objects. SNALWIBMA ( talk - contribs ) 16:34, 10 October 2012 (UTC)

Pretty uncontroversial so I just went ahead and moved it. :) Anna Frodesiak (talk) 12:08, 12 October 2012 (UTC)
I was just changing the infobox and noticed that there is a name field and then an official name field. Was the nickname actually the right name for this article? Anna Frodesiak (talk) 12:11, 12 October 2012 (UTC)
- When this question was asked in 2012 the answer was uncertain. However, today it is generally known as the Zhenya mammoth, even in academic literature. Zyxwv99 (talk) 23:24, 23 December 2017 (UTC)
