Alice in Chains
[edit]I just (23 Feb) received a marketing email from seetickets about this festival. It said that Alice in Chains are playing. This is obviouisly not WP:V. However, Sonicsphere's site lists them on the VIP tickets not the normal tickets. [1] [2] Strange. CS Miller (talk) 18:02, 24 February 2009 (UTC)
August 1st - Marley Park, Dublin
[edit]Please people note, that the show in Dublin IS NOT part of the Sonisphere Festival tour. It is purely a Metallica show and not associated with the Sonisphere brand at all. For full details of actual sonisphere dates go to sonispherefestivals.com. —Preceding unsigned comment added by BobGarage (talk • contribs) 15:37, 22 June 2009 (UTC)

[edit]I took the liberty of editing in the real names of bands as i didn't think "Taking back bumday" was really appropriate for a Wiki article! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 195.92.40.49 (talk) 09:40, 30 July 2009 (UTC)

- Not done: please be more specific about what needs to be changed. You need to provide a link to a reliable source that supports that, stage name, more information etc. --JokerXtreme (talk) 16:02, 7 April 2010 (UTC)
Therapy?
[edit]Will be playing their 'Troublegum' album in full at the UK 2010 event. Thought this was notable, can someone edit the article accordingly?

Pending changes
[edit]This article is one of a number selected for the early stage of the trial of the Wikipedia:Pending Changes system on the English language Wikipedia. All the articles listed at Wikipedia:Pending changes/Queue are being considered for level 1 pending changes protection.
The following request appears on that page:
Many of the articles were selected semi-automatically from a list of indefinitely semi-protected articles. Please confirm that the protection level appears to be still warranted, and consider unprotecting instead, before applying pending changes protection to the article. |
Comments on the suitability of theis page for "Pending changes" would be appreciated.
Please update the Queue page as appropriate.
Note that I am not involved in this project any much more than any other editor, just posting these notes since it is quite a big change, potentially

[edit]{{editsemiprotected}} Please change the Heaven & Hell show in Sweden cancellation reason from Ronnie James Dio's death to his illness because all the summer shows of the band were cancelled before he actually died (Heaven & Hell official blog). 62.16.117.27 (talk) 16:03, 17 June 2010 (UTC)

Seperate year pages
[edit]This page is going to become fairly cluttered/already is for a large part. The festival is expanding and is going to be going to several venues every year. Would it not be a good idea to make say a Sonisphere 2009/2010/2011 page and so on for line ups and detailed events. Whilst this can be a general overview of the history, which venues took place and which main bands were shared?Gedmundo (talk) 23:10, 18 August 2010 (UTC)
- Strongly agree, the current format is unworkable. Postrock1 (talk) 16:24, 28 February 2011 (UTC)
- Agree. I agree that it is somewhat cluttered. Also, the band layout formatting is inconsistent. Something does need to be done about that, and the yearly separation may be helpful. Backtable Speak to meconcerning my deeds. 00:44, 1 March 2011 (UTC)
